Membership

Membership of NIHEC was carefully chosen by Minister Roxon to bring together eminent 15 individuals and experts in Indigenous health from the Australian Government (through the Department of Health and Ageing), the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, the Aboriginal community controlled health sector, and the broader health sector. This partnership will work towards the attainment of equal health status between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous Australians.
